We've been to the Malibu location a few times, and after the wildfire, we decided to try this one. For first-timers, the restaurant isn't in the plaza, even though Google Maps might lead you there. It's actually right on the street. The food had great flavor and was well-priced. Service was friendly and attentive. The place wasn't crowded, which made for a relaxing experience. Recommending: tom yum, tom kha soup, glass noodle salad, pad thai, and garlic ribs

It has been a while since I've had such great food! We are definitely coming back. The background music was so relaxing, and the restaurant was spotless--something that's really important to me. We went for my wife's birthday, and the waitress was incredibly kind, even surprising my wife with a delicious, creamy coconut ice cream for dessert. The service was fast, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

So good. Love this local Thai place. Their lunch special is a great deal. They are in a little strip mall, but once inside it's very warm and welcoming. Service is always top notch and the ladies who work there are very good natured. I particularly like their curries they are rich and flavorful without being heavy.

This is the best Thai foods in bixby knolls area. Really good drunken noodles, pad Thai, and hot sauces. I would go back. The staff is really friendly and nice too.

I was craving Thai food and thought I try a different Thai restaurant. Cholada came up on Yelp and it was located in a strip mall with plenty of parking which was a plus. I came on a weekday during lunch and I was the only customer there so I got seated right away. The ambiance was nice with Thai decor all around. I ordered their pad see ew lunch special which came with salad, wontons, and a drink. The salad was fresh and good, especially with the peanut dressing they used. The Pad see ew was good too, tastes on par to other Thai restaurants. Overall, a good authentic Thai restaurant in Bixby Knolls!

Quaint little restaurant off of Orange and Carson in the Bixby Knolls area. I love to order the garlic chicken lunch special for pick up when I'm working at home or picking my dog up from the groomer in the same shopping center. . Priced right and the portions are great. Customer service is always on point, and food is packed nicely. I always ask for extra sauces, basically the spice jar that you get if you dine-in. The Thai Iced Tea is delicious but I only get it when I'm craving something sweet.

Greeted and seated. Ordered special Pai Thai dishes, soup and Thai iced tea. All was delicious! This place does not get crowded at all, which I was quite surprised to see. The food and service is very good. I have been here several times already and it seems like there is only like 4 -6 people whenever I drive by this establishment. I believe this place needs a word-of-mouth acknowledgement and should be recognized for the service and food given. Prices are acceptable and restaurant is clean. The only negative part about this restaurant is location. You may need to park on the street or a block away from this establishment, can be intimidating since it is a busy street and can be shady pending on the time you go. But overall, I recommend for a good Thai food experience.

New find for us in California Heights, unpretentious neighborhood gem, amazing food, authentic and flavorful , wonderful service with a smile

My coworkers and I order togo from this place from time to time, but we decided to come out this time for lunch. A lot of us ordered from the Lunch menu, but due to the smaller portions, many of them ordered from the regular menu as well. As someone who doesn't eat a whole lot, the lunch special was nice as I was able to get a small salad as well as the Thai Tea. The service was great and it was very clean and well kept on the inside as well.

Omg not sure how I have not left a review yet ! I love love this Thai spot !! It's located in the plaza on Carson/orange, but it's more on the orange side & I usually always find parking right in front ! But you can always park in the plaza parking. I have gone for their lunch special which is Mon 11-3 ! & YUM so many great options for a good price ! I've gotten the shrimp curry so good ! I've also tried their pad Thai , pineapple rice , chicken skewers, & shrimp cashew nut . Everything here has honestly been so flavor & good , taste fresh as well ! I've really enjoyed my dine in experience here & i always have the same lovely server , she is so sweet & is very prompt with her service & doesn't ever bother too much as I usually dine there alone . I have gotten during the week where it is not too hectic and always seating available so definitely a nice spot to dine in . A must check out for Thai lovers !
